I went from minimal movement without pain to being able to do pushups again. There is a huge benefit and advantage in having a professional explain concepts, movements, and ensure the correct muscle groups are being activated.

Carrie Johnson2023-12-09I highly recommend Active Physical Therapy. I have been to physical therapy several times over the years and Active Physical Therapy has been by far the best experience. I appreciate the individualized approach and the ability to work one on one with the physical therapist the entire length of the visit. Michael assigns me exercises to do at home vs traditional physical therapy where you come in a couple times a week and do the exercises in session. He records me doing the exercises and uploads them to an app so that I can easily reference and remember how to do them correctly. He individualizes the exercises to accommodate the equipment that I have at home. He has helped me to develop a strength training and stretching routine that is realistic and fits my schedule. Michael has done a fantastic job at evaluating and explaining my weak spots and how they affect the problem area (ankle/foot pain and tightness). Michael has also helped build my confidence and overcome some of my fears of re-injury. Michael is very engaging, friendly, and a joy to work with. I would give Active Physical Therapy and Michael 10 stars if I were able to.
Cody DeBrabant2023-12-09As is with life, we all end up with injuries from time to time and recovering can be lengthy. I was fortunate to be guided on the path to recovery with Mike. Mike was caring and compassionate, asking what expected goals and listening to what quality of recovery meant to me. He was able to perform a thorough assessment and we got started on a treatment plan. I progressed with his guidance and am continuing on the path to recovery with a much better quality of life. He was also able to identify and correct other issues along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. 10/10
Luke Daniels2023-12-07Michael helped me come back from double heel "fracture" (they were pulverized). His attention to detail and amazing hands-on care for my feet helped me get the flexibility and comfort and confidence I needed each session to make progress, start walking(!) and more. Now I understand what healthy walking looks like for me and my feet, and I am equipped to keep pushing for 100% recovery. We were doing (safe) box jumps last week, I didn't expect to be able to do that!

I’ve gone in with pain and left feeling so much better just after one session. And after about 3 months I am a completely different person!
